Due to the use of current transformers with speed saturation characteristics for current detection inside the UL-E2 series motor protector, it has superior performance in allowing for long cold start delay time and quick action of hot overcurrent (as shown in the current characteristic table), especially for the protection of large inertia or large capacity motors. It can easily meet the requirements of long start time for large inertia motors (such as fans, centrifuges, and Xilin motors) and ensure reliable protection of the motor throughout the entire working process. Overcoming the use of thermal relays in the protection of large inertia motors, it is necessary to short-circuit the thermal relay during start-up to prevent misoperation, which increases the complexity of the circuit and also has the disadvantage of protection dead zone. In addition, due to the independent nature of the phase failure detection and overcurrent detection components of the motor protector, even if the overcurrent setting value is incorrect, it will not affect the phase failure protection function. Whether it is a phase failure under light or heavy loads, or a phase interruption before, during, or during operation, it can all operate within 1 second.
